Fromosa B.V. ("Fromosa", "we", "us") respects your privacy and handles personal data with care, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have.

What data we collect
We collect only the data you give us, and the minimum needed to do business:
- Contact form and email: your name, email address, whether you are a supplier or a buyer, and the content of your message.
- Business correspondence: the details you share with us by email or other channels in the course of a possible or actual transaction.
We do not collect special categories of personal data, and our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Only functional cookies needed for the site to work may be used.
Why we use your data and on what basis
- To respond to your enquiry and take steps at your request before entering into an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To communicate with you and manage our business relationship, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting record-keeping (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary: with service providers who help us operate, such as our email and website hosting providers, under appropriate agreements; and where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and as long as required by law. Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship are deleted within a reasonable period. Data relating to actual transactions is kept for the statutory retention period that applies to business and tax records.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you; have it corrected or completed; have it erased; restrict or object to its use; and receive your data in a portable form. To exercise any of these rights, email info@fromosa.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
